EMSTARS includes patient information that is collected at the scene of a crash and in route to a hospital. Data include:

  • Unit/agency information;
  • Incident times;
  • Situation & scene information;
  • Patient care (vital signs, injury assessment, trauma score, procedures); and
  • Outcome & disposition.
